This Riad lies inside the Medina, near the Souk which is an ideal location to experience tradition!Outside the Riad you have the daily business going on with motorbikes, donkeys, lots of people and kids running around but once you step into the Riad you immediately experience a world of peace and calm. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. We received an upgrade to a very nice suite for my birthday and the staff were singing and gave me roses. The food was delicious and the different corners of the hotel are nicely decorated so you can enjoy a nice drink or a piece of cake in one of the salons. The rooftop is super for a relaxing breakfast in the shadow corners or around the small pools.

Worthing

A delightful small concern not far from the main square and transport links (train and buses), with kindly professional staff and a relaxed traditional atmosphere. It’s near several interesting museums and the local workmen’s shops if you’re looking for colourful souvenirs. The rugs and ceramics are particularly beautiful. There are several good restaurants nearby and a lot of local colour. It’s a quiet haven away from the frantic pace of local business life!

very friendly helpful staff, multi lingual and knowledgeable.bemused initially, by the interlocking spaces linked by steps around a traditional courtyard, with fountains and water features, up to various terraces with 3 spa pools.it has charming artisan decor, with intimate salons, one with an open fire. we had a comfortable modern ensuite room.after the first day getting lost in the medina and souk, we found it to be quite central to many of the sights of this wonderful city.

London

The riad surpassed all expectations. A lovely place, created from five separate houses combined to provide lots of different areas, each with its own and decor. The bedrooms are all individually styled and sized. We booked a junior suite which was large, comfortable, and stylish. The inside communal areas are varied with lots of cosy alcoves on different levels (so quite a lot of stairs if you have mobility problems), two plunge pools and several water features. The roof terrace is spacious, full of greenery with another plunge pool and hot tub. It benefits from amazing views over the city rooftops and the Atlas mountains. The food is high quality: breakfast is good and served whereever you want it (we always had it on the roof); optional evening meals are also great - no choice but you know in advance of booking what the menu for that day is. Again you can eat wherever you want and the service is fantastic. We had an amazingly romantic dinner on our final evening with a large room to ourselves, next to a roaring fire and rose petals on the table. Staff are friendly very attentive, good natured, efficient and will do anything they can to make the stay as pleasurable as possible.A truly amazing and very relaxing experience while being well placed to take advantage of the excitement and the medina just outside the door. Would recommend very highly and would definitely stay here any time we visit Marrakech.

Royal Tunbridge Wells

Very impressed with this hotel. Clean, well presented, great location and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. They made our trip significantly better. The breakfasts were plentiful and the rooms were more than adequate for wat you need. Amazing views from the top as well. Ideal for sunset watching. Thank you

Brighton

Lovely little Riad with very friendly welcoming, polite and helpful staff . Were met at the taxi rank on arrival and bags carried to the door of our room . Room was very good clean and luxurious and very comfortable . Rest of the hotel was very cosy with an open fire and indoor water features with plenty of spaces to sit and relax in comfort . Good continental breakfast served on the terrace . Only downside was internet could be better , we couldn't get any in our room and was intermittent elsewhere on more than a few occasions . Other than that it's a great place to stay and I'd definitely recommend to anyone . When I'm in Marrakech again I'll try and get a room here .

St Helens

Myself and my partner spent 7 days in Marrakech, 5 of these days spent at the riad. It is beautiful, cleanliness is really high and as soon as you step in through the doors it's like you've entered the set of a fairytail movie.The staff were the most helpful I've ever met, my partner lost her phone in the taxi on the way from the airport to the riad, we made the staff at the riad aware and within 20 minutes it was returned.We also had a bad experience with a fake guide demanding money for showing us the tanneries, again, we made the riad aware and they sent the 'guide' on his way.Unfortunately, the people who make a living by disoriented and confused tourists bring the whole marrakech experience down. If we are to return to Marrakech in the future, we will certainly book this riad and likely not exit until our return flight is due. It really is a beautiful oasis in the center of a busy, manic city.Shukran to all the staff. You made our holiday.

Our second visit..and we were not dissapointed. The riad is beautiful and a peaceful retreat from the hectic souks.Ismael and his team looked after us and as it was our 25th anniversary...upgraded us in our room and we look forward to returning soon.The pools on the roof terrace were fabulous..as its been 40° all week...perfect. thank you to all of you at our favourite riad xxx

Rockingham

My sister and I stayed at the Riad in a Suite. We arrived on a Sunday in a taxi not realising that the taxi can only go so far and then you need to walk to the riad. It was a Sunday and it was mayhem inside the Medina. We found our way to the riad with help from young youth and 30 dirhams. We should have let Reception know we were on our way and someone would have met us from the taxi. In a matter of seconds you go from crazy to calm.Once inside it is so quiet you would never know it’s so busy outside. The riad is beautiful inside. There are nooks and crannies every where you look to sit,eat and relax. The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. We loved the rooftop area where they serve breakfast and dinner. The pool is small, more like a plunge pool with 5 pool lounges and umbrellas. The riad is centrally located and within walking distance to many attractions.

The Riad was a beautiful, felt really traditional and the decor was amazing but also felt like home. This was definitely also down to the amazing people that worked there - Rachid and the whole team at the riad were lovely and really made us feel welcome, there wasn’t enough they could do for us but also were so lovely to chat to. It was so clean thanks to the wonderful staff and breakfast was the favourite part of our day! The roof was stunning, whether it was to have our meals there or to relax by the pool and we couldn’t get enough of the Moroccan tea. Also LOVED the cats!! By the end of the trip we’d made best friends with one of them and were really sad to leave her!

The Riad was beautifully decorated and full of interesting authentic artifacts. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with very good facilities. We particularly liked the wonderful roof terrace with the refreshing dip pool which we used after our hot day trips. It was the staff that were particularly amazing, helpful and friendly. Rachid was very helpful and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed friendly chats with him. Midi and Hisham were also very friendly and we looked forward to seeing them each day. The breakfasts were fresh and we particularly enjoyed the evening meal we had there on the first night. We loved Marrakesh and the friendliness of the staff at the Riad and other locals which made our holiday. The location of the Riad was in the best bit of the Medina and close to everything. If you choose this Riad you will not be disappointed!

Charming characterful building in perfect location with relaxing rooftop garden and plunge pool. Tasty evening meal on the terrace to help us settle in on the first night and great breakfasts up there too - a real oasis away from the lively Medina streets . Very friendly and helpful staff led by Rachid. We arranged for the riad to send a driver to pick us up at the airport, which we would advise anyone who is visiting Marrakech for the first time to do. Very comfortable and quiet room traditionally arranged and decorated

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is an amazing building with wonderful doors and ceramics. The rooftop where one eats and takes the sun was lovely. Our waiter could not do enough for us, thank you. The evening meal was excellent.

This riad was historic, gorgeous, and spotlessly clean. I was greeted by Rashid at the reception, and he provided me with excellent information and courtesy throughout my stay, including a map since I chose to stay next to the souks. I also chose to have an authentic Hammam and massage on site, which was also in a historic spa room and traditionally provided by Samira and her helper. This is a MUST DO to experience their traditional culture. Hicham hosted my delicious traditional tangine (authentically cooked by Chef Ismahan) each night on the beautiful balcony of the riad and his service was impeccable. Kind Rashida found my ID left in the room, and manager Ayoub contacted me immediately and returned it to me via DHL the same day it was found. His communication was impeccable. I was traveling in Marrakesh as a solo woman traveler thus having amenities on site was important to me in the evening. I was so pleased that I will come back again with others to show this wonderful experience of what is Marrakesh and Riad Moullaoud

Located in the heart of the Medina, Riad Moullaoud is an oasis of old world charm. The hotel oozes of character in every corner. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a great start to the day, and the pool and loungers offer an escape from the busy streets below. Massage and treatments are available in the hotel. I had a back and shoulder massage which left me feeling great. A set menu dinner is available each day, which is great value.

Rachid and Medhi were absolute stars in helping us through our trip to Marrakech and were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and as first time visitors it helped us massively. The interior design was authentic and comfortable. We were kindly given the best room in the property as newly weds which was so lovely. Rachid…… you rock!!!!

The hotel was very tranquil and a great escape from the crazy city outside. Enjoyed sitting on the rooftop by the small pool. Good views from there too. Breakfast was good, staff were very helpful. Location was great, only a short walk from the main city centre attractions.

The riad is located right in the heart of Marrakesh. Excellent size of room, nice and tidy and very well kept property. I stayed 8 nights and cannot find a single reason not to do it again. I had dinner booked in the riad twice and it was great as well. Each member of the staff was extremely kind attentive and respectful. Literally you can't make a step without been ask is everything ok or being offered refreshing drink. Special thank you to Mehdi, Hisham, Samhan and the best housekeeper I ever had Rashida. I will be definitely back

Staff were excellent. Hamman on site a bonus as was the breakfast. Roof terrace an ideal place to relax after a busy day sightseeing.
